Public School of Mayo Oulo

Renovation Completed December 2022

Project Overview

Students and Teachers

This school serves 820 students. The school has no desks so all students have to sit on the hard floor. The ceiling is in shambles which leaks during the rainy season. Vandals have damaged the school over the years leaving graffiti on the walls.

The remodel secured the windows and doors to prevent vandalism. It restructured the roof to keep the school dry in the rainy season. With a fresh coat of paint the graffiti is no longer. Students are off the floor and sitting at a desk ready to learn.

Huge thanks to Drew Rosenberg! Drew ran the New York City Marathon in support of Tomorrow Education. Because of his support we were able to remodel Mayo Oulo.

Renovated school in Cameroon supported by Tomorrow Education, an international education nonprofit in Central Africa providing new desks and improved classrooms for children in poverty.
