Schools submit applications for us to review. Our goal is to work with the schools with the highest need and go from there.
We assess the current state of the school and evaluate the school’s needs. Needs include number of classrooms, classroom materials, number of bathrooms, etc.
Based on our assessment, we will develop the building plan and determine the cost of the construction.
With the completion of the building plan, we coordinate our fundraising efforts and set our project goal. We also collect school supplies to donate to the school at the grand opening.
We start construction of the school. Due to seasons in Cameroon, this usually occurs starting in April.
We hold a grand opening of the new school building and donate all supplies also collected through fundraising process… then we repeat!
